Today I emailed this letter to the editor of The Roanoke Times. I thought I would share it here just in case TRT decides not to publish it.
. . .
Dear Editor,
I had about lost hope that there would ever be a candidate running in any election that I would feel comfortable supporting, but then I heard about Hank, a Springfield native who is running for Virginia senate.
Hank lived on the streets with his parents until he was orphaned. Happily, he was soon adopted by a loving family. He understands the reality of having little and the need for parents to be able to provide for their children. He has a clear and concise plan to support businesses, bring new businesses to Virginia, and bring new jobs to the community. He is also a strong supporter of animal rescue organizations.
If you take the time to learn more about Hank at hankforsenate.com, I believe that you, too, will want to support the best candidate for senate that Virginia has seen in a long time.
